Once your organization has committed to modernizing its IT infrastructure by moving to cloud-based software platforms, there are still several key questions to answer.
In this episode of Life in the Cloud, podcast host Kris Reddy walks through how managers and other business decision-makers can evaluate whether to hire an external managed services provider (MSP) to help support those efforts.
Kris recommends looking inward first - what exactly is the business trying to accomplish? Does the organization need end-to-end IT management support? Further, how much IT talent is available in the organization already? Do they have the right skills to support and maintain new technologies?
When choosing an MSP, Kris also recommends that companies evaluate what type of partner they want to have in an MSP. Is an out-of-the-box strategy sufficient, or does the company need something more customized to fit its unique needs?
Listen now to hear why Kris encourages organizations to review contracts in detail, leverage the tech savvy that already exists in the organization to help make this decision, and be sure to look for a partnership that will be valuable today and will grow and scale with the business in the future.
